Delhi polls: Congress announces scheme for unemployed youth, promises 8,500 ₹ per month | Latest News India

The Congress is calling the scheme ‘Yuva Udaan Yojana’.

Congress on Sunday announced the ‘Yuva Udaan Yojana’ scheme which provides monthly financial assistance. INRIf voted into power in the capital, it would provide an educated but unemployed youth in Delhi with $8,500 for a year.

Congress leader and former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot, who made the announcement, pointed out that beneficiaries cannot receive the money “sitting at home”.

Sachin Pilot said, “We will provide financial assistance to young people who can apply their skills in companies, factories and organizations. They will earn money through these companies. This is a system where you can earn money while staying at home. there is no.”

He further stated, “I want to become engrossed in the field in which I received training and work hard to improve my skills.”

Congress’ other plans for Delhi polls

On January 6, the Congress announced the ‘Pyari Didi Yojana’ and made commitments under it. INR2,500 per month if elected as the ruler of Delhi.

On January 8, the grand old party announced the ‘Jeevan Raksha Yojana’ which provides up to free health insurance. INR2.5 million.

Voting in the 70-member Delhi assembly will be held on February 5, with counting of votes scheduled for February 8. The Congress has been out of power in Delhi since December 2013, when it was ousted by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). .

AAP won 67 and 62 seats in 2015 and 2020, respectively, while the Bharatiya Janata Party came in second by a wide margin in both cases. On the other hand, the Congress could not even open an account in the two polls.
