Which offensive player stood out in the Super Bowl run?
Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles ruled the AFC and NFC. They achieved it with excellent coaching by players and incredible applications. Let’s take a look at the offensive players from each team that are important in the Super Bowl run.
1. Kareem Hunt, Running Back – Kansas City Chiefs
Kareem Hunt joined the Chiefs following an injury from Isia Pacheco’s early season. The former professional bowler was initially considered merely a piece of depth, but his role steadily increased as the season continued.
Hunt ultimately recorded 200 carries, 728 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns in 13 games. He has not slowed down in the playoffs and remains the Chiefs’ main rush weapon.
2. Saquon Berkley, running back – Philadelphia Eagles
This year’s offensive player, Saquon Berkley enjoyed his first sensational season at Philadelphia Green. The former New York Giants have adapted well to Philadelphia and are now considered the best player on the roster.
Barkley spent a historic regular season, accumulating stat lines of 345 carries, 2,005 rushing yards and 13 TDs. He scored an astounding 125.3 yards per game, helping the Eagles stay in playoff locations. Berkley has not slowed down in the playoffs, and his 442 rushing yards and five touchdowns show what the Chiefs are against.
