Aryna Sabalenka began the 2025 season by competing in Brisbane International. There, two famous players, including Renata Zarazua and Mirra Andreeva, reached the finals. In the final round, she faced off against Paula Badosa, especially dominating the match 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, and claiming the title.
Alina Sabalenka revealed that tennis is the love of her life
In a recent interview with Flaunt Magazine, Aryna Sabalenka talked about how tennis is the love of her life. She revealed why and stated that she loves competition. She also shared what she does when she wasn’t playing or practicing, such as drinking delicious coffee and scrolling through Instagram.
“I’m very competitive. I’m offensive in the sense that I’m a court. I’m very crazy. You have to be 100% armed, but it’s really hard to handle. I trained and When not, I’m just trying to do something that brings joy to me. Sometimes it’s even easy to go for a good coffee in a good cafe. You just enjoy the place and drink coffee , just scrolling through Instagram and doing something completely stupid. It’s off. That’s important,” said Arena Sabalenka.
Following this, Sabalenka also spoke about her motivation for continuing her sport. Believing her family as the same, she said she always wanted them to be proud of her.
“They are definitely people who motivate me to keep me moving. There were times when I wanted to give up, but I just thought I couldn’t quit. I was like they were going to give me a go. I’m proud and hope that it will bring some positivity to their lives as they will be happy when I win. And I want it to be a great role model for my sister. She is 11 years younger. I want you to see a good example (in my mind) like I saw in my dad.”
Aryna Sabalenka finished first in the 2025 season despite losing her final match in the WTA Finals, the 2024 WTA Finals that she faced Kokogoff in November.
