The 35-year-old had been fighting for the first time in over 470 days, but was unable to withstand Salkild’s early attacks. A powerful right hand crashed Jubli onto the canvas, urging the judge to intervene and immediately halt the contest.

The decision sparked some controversy, questioning whether the suspension was premature.

Jubli made his UFC debut in Abu Dhabi in October 2023 with UFC 294, but lost to Mike Breeden. He is only the second Indian male fighter to secure a UFC contract after Bharat Khandare.
