ANCA, a global leader in CNC tool grinding technology, is showcasing cutting-edge solutions focused on India’s growing manufacturing sector at IMTEX 2025. For 50 years, ANCA has pioneered advanced grinding machines and automation systems, helping manufacturers around the world achieve precision, efficiency and productivity in tool manufacturing. At IMTEX 2025, ANCA will showcase industry-leading products, including the latest innovations tailored for the Indian market, reinforcing the company’s commitment to driving the future of manufacturing in India.

Founded in Melbourne, Australia in 1974 by engineers Pat Borland and Pat McCluskey, ANCA has grown from a small start-up to a global powerhouse. Over the years, the company has manufactured more than 1.1 billion cutting tools and revolutionized industries around the world with advanced technology and customer-focused innovation. ANCA’s success is a testament to its ability to blend cutting-edge engineering with a deep understanding of market needs, and its solutions have enabled Indian manufacturers to thrive in an increasingly competitive global environment.

ANCA product innovation at IMTEX 2025: revolutionizing precision tool grinding

At IMTEX 2025, ANCA announced a series of products designed to improve precision tool grinding and light-off automation solutions in key sectors such as aerospace, automotive, 3C (computers, communications, and consumer electronics), semiconductors, and microtool manufacturing. Introducing the solution. We are focused on meeting the needs of Indian manufacturers.

FX5 ULTRA is one of the standout products in ANCA’s showcase, designed for manufacturers who demand the highest quality and consistency. It can grind tools as small as 0.1mm in diameter, making it ideal for applications that require complex designs. With precision accuracy and reliability, the FX5 ULTRA maintains tight tolerances of ±0.0025mm, ensuring batch consistency and delivering superior quality and precision results.

For the demanding microtool industry, ANCA has introduced the MicroX ULTRA, a 6-axis tool and cutter grinder designed to set a new standard in microtool manufacturing. Capable of grinding tools up to 0.03 mm in diameter, MicroX ULTRA meets the needs of industries that require ultra-precision tools, such as medical, microelectronics, and aerospace. The system offers high flexibility, precision and unattended production capacity to produce up to 2,460 tools with 3 mm shanks in an automated process.

Another key product in ANCA’s range, the MX7 ULTRA, is designed for manufacturers who require superior quality in precision tool grinding. Guaranteed profile and line shape accuracy of less than 2 microns, ensuring perfect tool geometry throughout your high-volume production run. This machine is ideal for applications where high precision is required, such as automotive, aerospace, mold and industrial applications.

For manufacturers who value high material removal rates, CPX provides the ideal solution. Significantly reducing cycle times without compromising quality, CPX is designed for high performance cylindrical grinding, achieving Cpk values greater than 1.33 even with tight outer diameter tolerances of 0.003mm.

The FX5E offers powerful performance in a compact design, making it ideal for small production areas. Offering high precision and flexible automation options, the FX5E is designed for a cost-effective grinding solution, optimizing operations while delivering consistent, flawless results.

“Finally on display is ToolRoom RN35.1, ANCAS’ latest software focused on improving productivity and performance. This release includes several improvements to reduce cycle times and improve the user experience. We also have other software products such as CIM3D and Toolyzer to help our customers produce high-performance cutting tools on any of the machine platforms listed above.”
