Mr. Abraham elaborated on the growing importance of predictive policing, which uses historical crime data to predict crime hotspots, times of day, and types of crimes, and that a data-driven approach allows law enforcement agencies to He said that by strategically deploying resources, crimes can be prevented before they occur. He said AI’s ability to generate accurate reports and assist with language translation is also a big advantage, reducing time spent on manual report writing, especially in multilingual environments such as communications between state police in India.
