Pratim D. Gupta begins filming for his upcoming film starring Ritwick Chakraborty and Sohini Sarkar

Filming of Pratim D. Gupta’s film Ranna Baatian exciting relationship drama has begun, exploring the power of love, loss, and food. The stories, also written by him, bring the deep, personal stories back to life, while providing a visually rich cinematic experience.
Ranna Baati Following the story of a 40-year-old software engineer working on a single parent-child relationship. As he struggles to reunite with his emotionally distant teenage daughter, something unexpected leads him on a journey of self-discovery, with new relationships, long buried feelings, and his life It brings the possibility of love.

Starring Ritwick Chakraborty and Sohini Sarkar, the film also features Solanki Roy and Anirban Chakrabarti in pivotal roles. Ranna Baati promises to be a scathing blend of emotions, food and family. The film delicately explores the themes of sadness, healing and new beginnings fixed in the rich traditions of Bengali cuisine.
Speaking about the film, Pratim said: It’s a celebration of love – not only romantic love, but also the bond between parents and children, and how can we fix the occasional food cannot. ”
