Fans responded after tech tycoon Elon Musk shared a segment of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast. The clip witnessed UFC commentators and his guest Dr. Brett Weinstein discussing the US Agency for International Development (USAID) controversial spending report on suspicious overseas projects.
USAID recently fired fire after President Donald Trump criticized an agency that allegedly spent exorbitant amounts on digital news portal Politico. The debate sparked extensive online debate, with many questions about the transparency and allocation of government funds.
In episode #2269 of JRE, Weinstein joined the podcast to discuss the USAID spending report. In the conversation, they went on overseas projects, including $20 million in the Iraxessame Street program, $2 million in the Moroccan ceramic class, and $11 million to encourage Vietnam to stop burning other spending. I was amazed at the incredible numbers assigned.
Musk later shared a segment of Logan’s podcast on his X handle. The post sparked a wave of public response. Many citizens criticized USAID in their comments.

Dr. Brett Weinstein praises Elon Musk on Joe Rogan’s podcast for his role in the election
In the above episode of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast, Dr. Bret Weinstein made Elon Musk a brave sharing opinions about the campaign, rather than taking the neutral stance of Mark Zuckerberg. I praised it. Weinstein said:
“It was amazing to see Elon (in the election). Of course, in Elon’s position he could have done what (Mark) Zuckerberg would have done. It was later, and he would have said that he would have been his. He had the courage to believe.
He continued:
“When you get one, social media platforms that can’t speak freely are at a competitive disadvantage. ElonFreeing X actually releases other people (social media platforms) and they’re in the right direction We are beginning to move to. Frankly, that’s part of why this era feels different.”
