Omaha (WOWT), Nevada -A new thriller hit the movie theater on Friday and was really interested. People from Omaha have fingerprints on it!

Drew Hancock is the director of the feature film “Companion”. He brings the charm of Nebraska to the Silverth Crane.

“I love the cloudy sky. I love the cold weather. I love snow,” said Hancock. “I love seasonal changes. I can’t get it in Los Angeles.”

15 years have passed since he moved to Los Angeles. Since he arrived in the angel city, he has been written in various comedy, television pilots, and small movies. He said “companion” was his debut.

The horror slurer starring Sophie Tatcher and Jack Quaid. In preparation for you, we have spare some bloody scenes from the story. You can see the complete trailer online.

Hancock also wrote a film script. He said that it would be great if you were a little blind in the movie.

“The three couples go to the cabin in the middle of the forest, and then go south,” said Hancock.

Hollywood was not always included in the Hancock card, especially from Nebraska.

“We grew up in Omaha, we are far from Los Angeles,” said Hancock. “I never really thought about working on TV or movies.”

He didn’t originally see him bringing his story to the screen, but Hancock said he had inspired by Alexander Pain, another film creator in Omaha.

“I was a big fan of his writing,” said Hancock. “In fact, 15 years ago, 10 years ago, I was able to meet him and hear him.”

Like Pain, Hancock said he wanted to take his production back to his hometown someday. For now, his family and friends who have returned here will celebrate his first.

“They borrowed a theater. They are all going to see it on the opening night,” said Hancock. “It’s very humble, it’s very impressive that people care like them, and I think Omaha is such a place.”

The film is distributed by photos of Warner Brosors of theaters nationwide. You can catch it at the theater from Friday, January 31st.
