Hammer Museum is approaching Hollywood-born concept artists John Knight, Hood Century Modern Founder Jerald, Avant-Garde. Participated in regional surveys including Theater We announced 27 artists. Hollywood operated by artist Character Henkel and Max Pitegoff.

The seventh edition of the Biennale, which focuses on the works of local artists, is curated by Essence Harden and Paulina Pobocha. In every year of 2023, it was naturally organized mainly for works created mainly due to the suffering of pandemic (the Times art critic Christopher Knight was called “Pandemic Zoom Biennale”), but this year the Curator is a specific theme. He said he tried to avoid it.

According to Harden and Pobocha, the unified aspects of all tasks are the city itself. Of course, the impact is as vast and large as the city’s landscape.

“The artist, the works they make, the context they make, and the context are Los Angeles,” Pobocha said.

Harden and POBOCHA visited as many studios and artists as possible this year, and spent a few months across the city. They began to spread and prejudice what the exhibition should look. They also did not follow the hard line parameters on who they would visit or where to visit. They said they had considered non -traditional artpractis that did not support a specific client base.

According to Pobocha, the goal was to see where we take us according to artists.

“We love work. It’s a research -based,” said Harden. “And some of the jobs are talking to this new person’s group. The most fun moment comes from visiting the studio.”

This year’s Biennial, which will be held from October 5 to January 4, 2026, gathers artists born far from Baghdad and HAITI (Widline Cadet). The oldest is 85 (Pat O’Neill), the youngest (Eyal). Other participants include David Alekhogie, Black House Radio /Michadonte, Greg Breda, Karlchen, Hannaha, Christirack, Patrick Martine, Beaemendez, Naila, Will Rolls, Brian Rochehot, Amanda Rochort, Gabrieluis, Arake Shilling, Arake Shilling. , Nicole Antonia Spanora, Mike Strorz, Peter Tomka, Freddie Villa Robos, Kelly Wall, Leila Wine Laub, Bruce Yonemoto.

Part of the artist’s work is selected as a recent collective collection, managed by hammer of the Los Angeles County and Contemporary Museum. Mohn Art Collective: Hammer, LACMA, Moca (or mac3), this collection is expected to expand every year, starting with gifts from charity Jarl and Pamela Mohn. During the LA year, the mission is that new works will be selected every other year. 80 works in the past 12 years have been added to the collection by hammer.

Made in La Artists has won three awards. This is a $ 100,000 Mohn prize for artistic Excellence, a $ 25,000 award for career aero, and a $ 25,000 award selected by visitors to Biennial.
