The Pianist is based on the autobiography of Polish Jewish pianist and composer Viwadiswau Supirman (drawn by Brody) and is set during World War II. When he navigates the fear of Warsaw under the Nazis, it follows Szpilman.

After the Nazis invaded Poland in 1939, Supirman and his family can withstand the repression of the Jewish community. Eventually, Szpilman is forcibly repatriated to the camp, so he is separated from his family and left himself to dodge himself.

If he struggles to survive, Spireman hides in Warsaw’s abandoned INS, withstands hunger, isolation, and constant threats of discovery, and his love for music is the source of his hope.

At the 89th Academy Awards, Manchester By the Sea won two Oscars.

The film was also nominated for several other major awards, including the best picture, Best Support Actor (Lucas Hedge), Best Support Actress (Michelwims), and Best Director (Ronagnan).

“Manchester By the Sea” talks about the story of Lee Chandler (Affleck), a quiet and retired handyman living in Boston. Lee’s life is defeated when his brother, Joe (Kyle Chandler), has died, and when he learns that he has been named Joe’s legal guardian of Patrick (Hedge).

Reluctantly, Lee returns to his hometown of Manchester, Massachusetts, where he must face the painful memory of driving away him many years ago. Through the flashback, the audience reveals the devastating tragedy of Lee, who has been emotionally crushed by his ex -wife, Randy (Williams), and has become estranged.
