The winter 2025 box office could certainly use a hero, and all eyes are on Anthony Mackie star Captain America: Brave New World to be just that.
If early tracking is correct, the Marvel Studios feature should open at least $90 million or more over the Valentine’s Day/President’s Day weekend. It was the same weekend that the first Deadpool opened, and also the first Black Panther. Photos from this year’s first All-Audience event will open on February 14th.
When it comes to movies, Marvel is back to basics. This one sees a whole new cast. Mackie’s Sam Wilson will take up the mantle of Captain America, a hero previously played by Chris Evans.
