The trailer of the new romantic comedy ‘Loveyapa’ has been released and it promises a thrilling mix of love, drama and chaos. Starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, the film delves into the complexities of modern relationships and humorously depicts what happens when the illusion of perfect romance is shattered.
The trailer begins on a light-hearted and jovial tone, showcasing the undeniable chemistry between the protagonists Gaurav (Junaid Khan) and Baani (Khushi Kapoor). The scene is set with Junaid’s character sitting with Khushi’s father (Ashutosh Rana) and requests the couple to exchange phones to prove the depth of their love. This seemingly innocent request spirals into a dramatic vortex of secrets, misunderstandings, and shocking revelations.
As Gaurav and Bani exchange phone calls, hidden truths are revealed one after another, drawing them into a web of cryptic messages and past relationships that test their trust and communication. The film is a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit ‘Love Today’ and also stars comedy talent Kiku Sharda.
Directed by Advait Chandan, ‘Loveyapa’ is scheduled to release in theaters on February 7, 2025.
It will be Junaid’s first foray into the romantic comedy genre since his role in ‘Maharaj’ and Khushi’s first theatrical release after her OTT debut in ‘Archies’.
