Despite all the negative press, a lot of people actually watch Beast Games. The Beast Game is a big-budget reality series by Mr. Beast for Amazon Prime Video in which 1,000 players compete for $5 million. Very rarely seen in this competitive genre.
Now, Beast Games has finally been dethroned for the first time since its launch with a new Amazon Original series, On Call. This police drama is a police drama that aired all episodes at once just a few days ago, which is a rarity for Amazon. . Here’s an overview:
“On Call is an adrenal-stimulating procedural that puts us inside a squad car or out on the street with the Long Beach Police Department. The series stars training officer Tracy Harmon and rookie Alex Diaz. through the complexity of work While Harmon is enlightened by a child living on the street, Diaz explores how police enforcement is not black and white, but rather shades of gray. You will learn that it is necessary.”
The series did not receive very high reviews from critics, with only a 50% rating. However, despite not including as many reviews, it has so far received a much better score (88%) among viewers.
This show doesn’t have a lot of actors that you know. The biggest “name” I can find is Full House/College Admissions Scandal icon Lori Loughlin. The lead actress is Spencer Hastings, who was once a big-time TV actress and appeared on seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars. So maybe she’s just not in my personal circle in any known amount. I also know Rich Ting from some of my favorite projects, from Warrior to Tulsa King.
However, Beast Games isn’t over yet. Considering that “On Call” was canceled all at once and “Beast Game” still has five episodes left until its finale on February 13th a month later, it will likely regain the top spot soon.
The difference between criticism and audience acceptance here is stark. It received an abysmal 13% rating from critics, with some saying everything is wrong with today’s society. But the audience rating is 80%, and you don’t see that level of difference every day. Despite all the hate on the internet these days, we live in a bubble of sorts. This guy has 343 million YouTube subscribers and gets at least 150 million views on every video he releases. No, it’s no surprise that this is doing well and has high ratings. You’ll be back on top in no time.
