Sam Altman
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman will attend President Trump’s inauguration, according to an OpenAI spokesperson.

Metaplatforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg may attend the event, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter. There is no official confirmation from Meta.
Dara Khosrowshahi
Uber Technologies CEO Dara Khosrowshahi will attend several celebratory events, the company said. Uber will also host an inaugural party in Washington with Elon Musk’s social media company X and media company Free Press.

Coinbase Global CEO Brian Armstrong has been invited to several events, including the presidential dinner, the company said.

OpenAI President Greg Brockman and Chief Product Officer Kevin Weil will also attend the inauguration, according to a company spokesperson.
President Donald Trump’s second term is expected to bring changes to the dynamic AI industry. Trump faced issues during his first term, including immigration and online content control. Trump had issues with Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos during his last term.
Both Meta and Amazon recently pledged to donate $1 million to President Donald Trump’s Inauguration Fund. Trump also had dinner with Zuckerberg and Bezos at Mar-a-Lago. Mr. Zuckerberg abolished fact-checking and relaxed rules for content on Meta Inc.’s social media platforms, similar to Company X, which is owned by Mr. Trump’s close ally Elon Musk.
Meanwhile, Altamun personally donated $1 million to President Trump’s inaugural fund. He also donated to President Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign.
“AGI will probably be developed during this presidential term, and it seems critical that we get it right,” Altman said in the report. “I think supporting the inauguration is a relatively small thing. I don’t think it’s a big decision anyway. But I think we should all wish the president well. I think so,” he said.
