Earlier this month, the Labor Commissioner had filed an FIR against the intermediary and the employer at Hazaribagh, Bokaro and Giridih police stations on instructions from Soren, who received complaints that workers had not received wages for three months. Ta.

After the government took action, the process of paying wages to the workers has started, the statement said.

“The control room team has been in continuous contact with the staff, the company and the workers through email and telephone and the outstanding amount of Rs 3,977,000 has been paid to the workers,” the statement said.

It was alleged that the employers and intermediaries sent these workers to Cameroon without registering them under the Interstate Migrant Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act 1979 and without obtaining the necessary permits.

The workers came to the CM’s attention for not paying their wages for three months, following which the state immigration control cell contacted the workers and the employer.
