New Delhi: UFC superstar Conor McGregor has returned to martial arts to take on Logan Paul in a boxing match, with a historic boxing fight all but over. McGregor confirmed that the Ambani family, Asia’s richest, will stage their next fight in India, this time confirming the prize money and venue for their return fight.
India’s iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will host the highly anticipated boxing match between McGregor and Logan. McGregor has been away from martial arts since his last fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021.
He injured his leg in his last game and was out for about three years. McGregor announced his return in January 2024 and was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at the UFC 303 International Fighting Event, but withdrew from the bout.
According to reports, both the matches will generate revenue of around Rs 1,000 crore. 21.348 billion in a huge money showdown in India. Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani wants to set a new standard for sports mega-events to be held in India and has started plans to bring the biggest fight in boxing history to India.

Logan is also a global star, making a name for himself in the martial arts world by fighting notable opponents such as Floyd Mayweather, Dillon Danis, and KSI. Logan also defeated McGregor’s close friend Dillion, and McGregor will be looking to avenge his loss to Logan.
The martial arts world will be eagerly awaiting a historic night at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This match will be a milestone in the history of Indian sports as martial arts is not very popular in India.
