Home News Donald Trump makes shocking claims that the Democratic Party paid huge sums of money to Beyoncé, Oprah and others…

Trump did not mention a specific amount.

New Delhi: US President-elect Donald Trump has made a shocking revelation that the Democratic Party was paying millions of dollars to celebrities to support rival candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential election.

In a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump claimed that the Democratic Party spent millions to attract celebrity and media support, including Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and the Rev. Al Sharpton. President Trump said these actions were “totally against the law.”

The president-elect wrote on Truth Social: “Are the Democrats allowed to pay $11 million, $2 million, $500,000 to get the support of Beyoncé, Oprah, and Pastor Al?” I don’t think so! Beyoncé didn’t sing, Oprah didn’t do anything (she called it an “expense”), and Al is just a third-rate scammer. So what’s going on here? It’s completely against the law, but I’ve heard there are many others!!!”

It’s still unclear where Trump found the numbers he mentioned in his post.

President Trump called Sharpton a “third-rate fraudster” and accused Democrats of paying the money to win awards and endorsements, citing specific amounts of $11 million, $2 million, and $500,000. He raised a dollar.

For the record, Beyoncé and Oprah appeared with Kamala Harris during the presidential campaign.

Oprah hosted a livestream event in September while Beyoncé appeared at the event. Mr. Sharpton, a civil rights leader and MSNBC host, interviewed Ms. Harris and held a rally encouraging people to vote.

According to the complaint, her nonprofit National Action Network received $500,000 in donations from Harris’ campaign, but MSNBC said it was not aware of any such donations. .

Oprah Winfrey denied receiving compensation for assistance, saying her production company Harpo was only compensated for providing production services for the event. It was initially reported that Mr. Harpo received $1 million, but it was later revealed that the actual amount paid was closer to $2.5 million.
