Returning to the screen for the first time. Although this project has been kept top secret, we know the plot and it is sure to stir up some controversy. The film depicts how a young black man who works as a slave reenactor at a living history museum comes to the surprising realization that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned her. It is unclear at this time whether Lamar will star in the film or play a supporting role.

In an interview with Collider, Neeson spoke about his experience working on the film: “I had a lot of faith in Akihabara because it’s a genre I’m not very familiar with. I wrote some little TV sketches that might last like two minutes. But as a whole, this was a new experience for me, so , to be honest, I was a little nervous.
