After a months-long marketing campaign (including an impressive list of brand collaborations), the record-breaking box office success of Wicked Part 1, and the November 2025 premiere of Part 2 (officially titled Wicked: For Good). However, the buzz about Wicked continues unabated. Anytime and immediately.
While an official streaming date for the film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical has not yet been confirmed, here’s what we know so far about watching Wicked at home, including how to pre-order the musical film on Blu-ray and digitally. When to stream ‘Wicked’ online
Most new movies arrive on streaming services within 60 to 90 days of theatrical release, but some can take up to 120 days. However, Wicked will be available to stream a little earlier than that. In fact, it’s less than 40 days from theatrical release to home video.
“Wicked” will arrive on digital platforms including Prime Video, Apple TV, and more as a premium video on demand (PVOD) release on Wednesday, December 31 at 12 a.m. ET, just in time for the new year. Pre-order Wicked on Amazon for $29.99.
Where to stream Wicked online
Wicked is produced by Universal Pictures, so it is initially expected to be released on Peacock, the streaming service owned by NBCUniversal.
However, as a PVOD release, it can be streamed as a rental or digital purchase on Prime Video, Apple TV, and other digital platforms. Wicked could drop on Peacock in late January or early February 2025.

Wicked on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray is available for pre-order at online retailers including Walmart, Amazon, and Target. Physical copies come with a digital code that allows purchasers to download the digital version to their preferred device upon release.
