Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) MLA T. Harish Rao asked the Congress government to win the hearts of the film industry with love and not with fear-mongering.
He made the remarks while referring to a meeting between the government and the film industry on Thursday. He said people’s opinions differ on the meetings that took place and in what circumstances.
Harish Rao was speaking after visiting Surite, an eight-year-old boy who was seriously injured during the rush at the screening of the movie Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theater on December 4. He spoke with doctors who told him about the boy’s condition. . Doctors say he is slowly recovering.
On behalf of the BRS Party, the former minister expressed his condolences to the family and prayed for his early recovery.
While welcoming the government’s action in response to the accident, he said a similar attitude should be taken against the deaths of children in government accommodation. “Police should also respond proactively to the case where a farmer commits suicide after accusing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s brother of his radical acts,” he said.
