Firecrackers were set off during CNN’s live New Year’s Eve special before comedian Whitney Cummings made some sharp jokes about Democrats and Kamala Harris. She never flinched, thinking it was being broadcast live on CNN, a mainstream channel known for its Democratic leanings. “Democrats couldn’t hold a primary…they were too busy trying to keep bodies upright,” Cummings said, alluding to Joe Biden’s poor health.
“It was surprising that the parties that supported their choices gave voters nothing when it came to presidential candidates,” Cummings said.
As CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen looked dumbfounded at her joke, Cummings said, “Mr. Kamala has said so much that I wonder if either Pfizer or Moderna got the patent. It was strictly imposed on us…” he said. Moderna and Pfizer were the two major pharmaceutical companies that developed vaccines against the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
After the video went viral, Cummings responded to some of the comments about X, asking if he lied.
“This is what I said at the end of tonight’s roast set on CNN. I zoomed in to watch it because I was running out of time (and scared). There was only 1 hour left. Since I only have minutes and I’m broadcasting live on established media, I thought I’d list some things that mainstream media never covers: The first Trump shooter didn’t have silverware at home. The Saudi crown prince put money into Disney, why is there still fluoride in Monsanto’s water? Why did so many presidential chefs pay Google to distort search results? ”Cummings continued social media users, especially MAGA supporters, couldn’t stop gushing about how great she is.
Cummings, a comedian and actor, said in March that he disagrees with either political party and supports only then-independent candidate Robert F. Kendi Jr.
