Nvidia also launched a second GPU, the RTX 5080, in addition to its more powerful sibling. It will also go on sale on January 30, 2025, after a few weeks of waiting since CES, but will cost essentially half the price of the 5090, with an MSRP of $999/£979.

What PSU is recommended for RTX 5080?
Nvidia recommends a minimum 850W PSU for the RTX 5080, but as always, we recommend aiming a little higher to ensure headroom. At a minimum, we recommend a reliable, reputable unit with 1000 W or higher, a good efficiency rating (80+ Gold or higher), and full ATX 3.0/3.1 compliance.
