When Google

Google has erased former U.S. President Joe Biden’s “Presidential position” from Google’s search results. Recently, users who have searched for terms such as “US President”, “US President”, “US President in order” have observed that the list of presidential terms has been completed last week.
According to CNBC reports, the results showed a series of presidents from George Wasington to Donald Trump, but Joe Biden was missing from the list.

What Google has to say

Google was due to a “data error” after noticed that the user was lacking in search results related to the US president.
“A simple data error has occurred in the knowledge graph. Google spokeswoman told CNBC. The term” knowledge graph “refers to a system that connects and organizes information.
The monitoring was done several months after Google CEO Sundar Pichai encouraged employees to focus on maintaining the trust and accuracy of the company’s service. In a memo sent on the election date last November, Pichai emphasized Google’s responsibility to provide reliable and unbalanced information.
“Regardless of the results of the election, we must be a reliable source of information for all backgrounds and beliefs,” said Pichai at the time.
In December, Pichai acknowledged that the company was facing the growing global criticism of Google’s influence and scale.

Google controversy before search results

The company faced a recent failure, including Google’s AI outline function, which provides an overview of the conventional search results, and has been scrutinized after its debut.
Similarly, in the case of Imagen 2, an AI tool that generates an image based on the user prompt. Immediately after the launch, Google temporarily deleted the product to fix it. Pichai later acknowledged the employees to “offend users and showed their bias.”
