What really pissed me off about Elon Musk was...: Yann LeCun, head of Meta AI.

Tesla and xAI CEO Elon Musk and Meta’s chief AI scientist Yann LeCun have had public disagreements over AI research and development. In a recent interview, LeCun shared his frustration with Musk, stressing that their differing views on the future of AI technology had upset him.
In an interview with Kara Swisher as part of the Hopkins Bloomberg Center Discovery Series, LeCun said he was “furious” when Musk began attacking higher education institutions, scientific institutions and scientists. Ta.
“What got me angry with Elon was when he started attacking higher education institutions and science and scientists like Anthony Fauci. I have a very independent opinion.” said LeCun, a scientist, New York University professor, and Meta executive who is one of the three “godfathers of AI.”

LeCun talks about working with Musk following influential role with Donald Trump

LeCun had previously explained that he was angry at Elon for attacking the scientific establishment, but now “he’s at the center of things” and says Musk’s influential role over Donald Trump. Views about were discontinued.
“Well, I mean, I’ve met Elon many times, and maybe that’s a given. I mean, you have to work right with people, regardless of political or philosophical disagreements. Hmm. At some point you have to work with people and that’s going to happen,” he said.
“I don’t do policy at Meta. I work on basic research and I don’t do content policy. I don’t do that. Although I talk to a lot of governments around the world. , I mainly talk about AI technology and how it affects government policy, but as you know, I have no influence on the relationship between the meta and the political system,” LeCun added. Ta.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently met with Trump over dinner at Mar-a-Lago.
