President Xi Jinping held a meeting with top Chinese entrepreneurs on Monday, the first gathering of its kind since 2018.
The core principles and policies of government for a private economy, firmly integrated into the socialist system, remained solid and unwavering, and XI was quoted as saying according to Xinhua.
“These policies will not change,” he said.
While China’s leading entrepreneurs ensure lasting government support and broader market access, XI has urged its country’s technological innovations amid a fierce rivalry with the US.
“It’s the right time for private companies and entrepreneurs to show off their talent and make important contributions,” Xi said.
