Here’s what Vlady had to say:

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be hoping to follow in his father’s footsteps. As a senior, Guerrero had 449 home runs and 1,496 RBIs for a career batting average of .318.
If Vladi Jr. can emulate those numbers, there’s a good chance he’ll join his father in Cooperstown at some point in the future.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. could be traded before spring training
During an appearance on MLB Network published on Jan. 9, insider Harold Reynolds predicted the Toronto Blue Jays would trade Vladimir Guerrero Jr. before spring training if they can’t get a long-term extension. .
According to co-host Matt Vasgersian, Guerrero Jr. is seeking a contract worth more than $450 million. Numbers like these might explain why there is speculation that there is $100 million between the Blue Jays and Guerrero Jr.’s camp.
Reynolds and Vasgersian agreed that re-signing Guerrero Jr. is the Blue Jays’ top priority at this point, but commentators’ opinions on the possibility of the Blue Jays trading Guerrero Jr. were different.
This proposed idea is reminiscent of the San Diego Padres trading Juan Soto to the New York Yankees several offseasons ago when they felt they could not re-sign him.
As such, the Blue Jays will be hoping for a return similar to what the Padres got for Soto. As of now, there is no indication that that trade route is the one the Blue Jays will take. But if that happens, Reynolds believes it will happen before the start of spring training.
“If they can’t lock him in, he’ll be traded before the season starts. He’ll be the blockbuster of spring training,” Reynolds said.
Otherwise, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Blue Jays could be in for a summer of uncertainty, with Guerrero Jr.’s impending free agency looming over the Jays’ season.
