GXO Logistics has updated its partnership with high -end fashion brand Versace and has expanded collaboration with Omnichannel Logistics to over 15 years. Based on the updated contract, GXO continues to manage all Versace product logistics operations, including additional services such as returns, quality control, labeling, and clothing repair.
GXO processes about 2.4 million items a year for Versace, covering clothing, accessories, perfumes, jewelry, household products, and raw materials. The company is operated from two warehouses, Bellinzago NovareSe and novara, and features a total of 12,000 square meters.
GXO has introduced technologies such as hanging garment solutions, RFID systems, and conveyor belts to improve operation efficiency. As part of the ESG Initiative, the company also uses LED lighting and direct personnel arrangement models.
ALESSANDRO RENZO, GXO’s Italy and Switzerland’s management director, said that the partnership is expanding over time, incorporating new sales channels and product lines. He emphasized that the company focuses on continuous improvement of technology.
Fulvio Mizzau, the director of Versace Logistics, said that with the experience of GXO’s high -end fashion logistics and its technology, it played an important role in supporting Versato’s strategy. He has expressed confidence in responding to future issues with GXO support.
GXO operates more than 60 sites in Europe, which focuses on fashion logistics, and offers services such as e -commerce fillments, omni -channel distribution, and reverse logistics. The company has increased efficiency and reduces costs using 3D sorting systems, robot picking arms, wearable scanners, and 3D packages.
