Gabard, who was nominated by President Donald Trump for post, was a former Army Colonel, Democratic Party member, and 2020 Presidential candidates who switched to the Republican Party last year. She was sometimes mentioned to tens of thousands of Intelligence representatives as members of the “deep state”.
Susan Collins Senator Senator (R Main) also announced her support for Gabard and further cleared the way to confirm. Collins and Young were considered a very important vote in the committee, as Hill reported.
