President Trump defended him three weeks before his first three weeks at the White House in an interview with Fox News channel Brett Bayer, which aired on Super Bowl Sunday.

One of Trump’s biggest moves in the White House for the second term was when billionaire Elon Musk calls on him to lead an entity called government efficiency and focus on reducing federal spending. did.

“I had a great help from the amazing Elon Musk. He’s great,” Trump said in an interview. It was pre-picked and aired when Trump flew to New Orleans to attend the Super Bowl in person, becoming the first sitting president of the United States.

Philadelphia Eagles CJ Gardner Johnson #8 and Jalix Hunt #58 won the Super Bowl Ricks at the Caesars Super Dome on February 9, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. I'll celebrate.

The massive mask of technology, which has become a special government employee, has almost unlimited access to federal departments and information, including Social Security and bank account numbers. A federal judge on Saturday temporarily blocked access to the Treasury Department following a lawsuit from 19 Democratic attorney generals, citing the risk of “irreparable harm.”

“I don’t agree with that 100%,” Trump said of the ruling. “I think it’s crazy. And we have to solve the efficiency issue.”

When asked about his confidence in Mask, Trump said he was good intent.

“Do you trust Elon?” Trump said. “Yeah, he’s got nothing. I wonder how he can actually spend his time. He’s crazy about it.”

Elon Musk, at the Washington, DC Trump's inauguration on January 20th, took over Musk for dramatically cutting government through the Government Efficiency Department team. The work is secret, controversial, and creates chaos throughout the federal workforce.

With Trump’s support, Musk and his Doge forces have pledged to significantly cut funding for the U.S. International Development Agency and “close it.” On Friday, the court stopped the Trump administration from temporarily shutting down the agency altogether.

Trump said he was instructing Musk and his team to investigate the education and defense departments next.

“We’re going to find billions of dollars, hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud and abuse,” the president said. “And you know, people chose me about it.”

SpaceX, one of Musk’s companies, receives billions of dollars in government contracts from the Department of Defense.

Canada as the “51st Provincial”

In his inauguration speech, Trump promised to “pursuing the fate of our manifesto to the stars,” and sent astronauts to Mars. In the weeks between them, Trump also spoke about purchasing Greenland, making Canada the “51st province,” reclaiming the Panama Canal and owning Gaza.

Trump doubled his desire to join the US during Canada’s interview with Byer.

“I think it would be much better to be the 51st state, as Canada loses $200 billion a year,” Trump said.

Last week, Trump threatened strict tariffs in Mexico and Canada, but delayed them for 30 days after both countries committed to sending 10,000 troops to protect the US border. On Sunday, the president said these actions were not sufficient to stop the final tariffs.

“No, that’s not enough,” Trump said. “It’s not sustainable, I’m changing it.”

While flying in Air Force 1 to New Orleans, Trump told reporters he would issue a 25% tariff on aluminum and steel imports on Monday. Additionally, he will announce mutual tariffs “everyone” on Tuesday or Wednesday. “All countries become mutual.”

He also confronted his wish that the US owns and takes over Gaza.

Super Bowl Playing Cards

Trump’s interview with Fox News aired hours before his coin toss at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

“I thought it would be good for the country to have the president join the game,” Trump said of his decision to attend in person.

When asked who would think he would win the NFL Championship, the president chose the chief for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“I think I have to say when the quarterback wins as much as he wins, I have to go with Kansas City,” the president said. “I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, it’s great for Philadelphia. It’s just going to be a great game.”

The president played football at the New York Military Academy. Trump later continued to own General New Jersey in the US Football League. The USFL competed briefly with the NFL before folding.

In 2018, Trump evacuated the Eagles from the White House after winning the Super Bowl 52. At the time, the team did not promise that all players would stand with their hands on their hearts for the national anthem.

Trump has questioned the NFL commissioner's reversal over the protests during the national anthem

Trump criticized players who kneeled during the national anthem to protest racism – a movement launched in 2016 by Colin Kaepernick.

The President’s Super Bowl attendance comes after the NFL’s decision to remove the “end racism” slogan that has been written in the end zone since 2021. “Select” is stenciled into the endzone on Sunday.

“We have to be together,” Trump said Sunday. “But to be together, there’s only one thing we’re trying to do. It’s a huge success. Success will bring the nation together, but that’s difficult.”
