Former WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams believes it’s only a matter of time before he gets called up to the main roster. 2024 was a big year for Williams, winning the NXT Title twice and being featured as the brand’s top star on most of NXT’s PLEs that year. Additionally, Williams also received the biggest response of any player on the developmental roster. All of this, combined with his ability as a showman, leads most to believe that Williams’ main roster call-up is imminent.

Trick Williams is very confident about his chances of joining WWE’s main roster
During a tailgate conversation, Williams was asked about his thoughts on making the main roster. The former NXT Champion’s response was filled with enthusiasm and confidence. he said: I think we have to be quick. I am very blessed and very lucky. I wish I could have had a career in football, but I got 10 times that with a career in wrestling. I’m grateful for that. ”
He added, “NXT as well, but as NXT goes, there’s not much better than Trick Williams’ experience.” That being said, I think a main roster call-up will happen soon. ”

Williams lost the WWE NXT Championship to Oba Femi during NXT New Year’s Evil 2025. There’s nothing stopping Trick Williams from moving onto WWE’s main roster unless he wins the title. He has proven himself in NXT and is ready to compete with the best this business has to offer, whether it’s on SmackDown or RAW.
