The US, who said it had a base, shows that it effectively meets the needs of its users in the US.

“Tiktok has been active in the US for many years and is extremely popular with American users,” said Mao Ning, a spokesman for China’s Foreign Ministry, in response to media questions about the issue of cutting transactions. “There was a positive role in boosting employment and consumption in the United States.”

Regarding actions such as operating and taking over companies, Mao believes that “it should be determined independently by the company according to market principles. If Chinese companies are involved, Chinese laws and regulations will be complied with. It should.”
