VinFast is building a factory in Tamil Nadu

What’s the story?

Vietnam’s leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast will officially enter the Indian market at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.

The company, which competes with Tesla in some markets, announced in February that it was building a new facility on the outskirts of Chennai.

The upcoming motor show will be a platform for VinFast to display a wide range of vehicles and reveal its showroom and sales strategy.

VinFast will exhibit all kinds of vehicles

VinFast will be showcasing its entire range of vehicles at the show, from the VF e34 to the top-of-the-line Vf7 SUV.

The company’s entire lineup is electric, making it the second all-electric manufacturer to set up shop in India after BYD.

The move is in line with market predictions that the EV segment will boom to over Rs 1,700,000 crore in the next two years.

Debut model and market competition

VF e34 could be VinFast’s debut model in India, competing against the likes of Maruti e Vitara, Hyundai CRETA EV, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, Honda Elevate-based EV, SKODA Kushaq EV, etc. Ready.

This strategic move will make VinFast a major player in the country’s growing electric vehicle market.
