“The last thing to think about is to breed snakes in the backyard and expect to bite only your neighbor,” Banerjee said during the discussion. “When that snake is released, it will bite someone who can. The snake remains a snake. Therefore, it must be very careful that Pakistan has harbored terrorism and terrorists in Pahargam from 9/11, 26/11, 26/11 with terrorism and terrorists in Pahargam.

Banerjee told participants that support for Pakistan’s terrorism has long been a volatile force, and recent events, such as the Pahargam terrorist attacks that claim 26 lives, underscored the urgent need for the world to act.
“We want to convey with all our humility and grace that the extended support to Pakistan is support for terrorist organizations. Those who support or defend Pakistan’s actions are essentially supportive of terrorism,” he said.
He emphasized that the Pahargam attacks are no longer an issue of India’s national security, but rather a “current global order.” He said India’s patience has run out after Pakistan did not take action against those in charge.
“We waited patiently for 14 days, then waited almost two weeks before finally carrying out an airstrike on May 7th,” he pointed out. “Our atmosphere neutralizes nine terrorist infrastructures without hurting one civilian and sends a clear and decisive message to the architects of violence.”
Emphasizing the broader economic context, Banerjee said Pakistan’s actions aimed at destabilizing India’s progress. “If you look at the trajectory of the economy of India and Pakistan, there is a difference between hell and heaven. India is growing dramatically, while Pakistan is struggling with their own economic crisis,” he said.

Cross-border hostilities attempted retaliation on May 8, 9 and 10 for days after India’s strike. This situation was only discovered after military-level consultations between the two countries on May 10, leading to an agreement to halt operations.
During their engagement in Seoul, the Indian delegation also met Yoon Ho-Jung, chairman of the Korean Congressional Friendship Group in the South Korean and India parliament, explaining Operation Sindoah and zero-tolerance stance on India’s terrorism.
The delegation highlighted India’s longstanding stance that it would not distinguish between terrorist groups and the countries that support them, and called on South Korea to support global efforts to hold terrorist organisers and terrorist funders accountable.
Chairman Yoon repeatedly expressed his sentiment, saying that “terrorist acts are unacceptable and unjustified,” reaffirming South Korea’s strong stance on terrorism and violence.
Banerjee concluded his statement by summoning Rabindranath Tagore to portray a cultural bridge between India and Korea. “I came from Bengal, a land that shares civilized ties with Korea, the land of Kobigul Rabindranath Tagore, whose poem “The East Lamp” still resonates deeply with the country. India is rooted in the values of peace, humanity and non-violence.
