According to media reports, the 15th edition of AERO INDIA 2025, the largest air show in Asia, cannot be characterized by US F-35A fighters. According to the News Portal DT NEXT, the US Air Force (USAF) has canceled a planned demonstration flight of the F-16 fighter upgraded with the F-35A stealth fighter.

According to the report, the exact reason for the cancellation remains unknown, but one of the possible explanations is that India focuses on aviation progress. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has progressed with a high-level moderate fighter (AMCA) program, and recent approval of upgrading the SU-30MKI fleet tends to pursue the acquisition of new aircraft in the near future. It may indicate that it is small.

The USAF has been a regular exhibitor of every other year event since 2005, but it is still unknown whether US aircraft will be exhibited as part of a static exhibition. Meanwhile, Russia’s SU-57, the fifth-generation fighter, will debut at the Era Hanka Air Base in Bengalulu at Aeroin Dia 2025, which will be held from February 10 to 14.

Furthermore, the report suggests that the USAF is investigating the recent F-35A crash during the training mission at the Alaska Air Force Base in Alaska. As a result, Air Combat Command confirmed the cancellation of the F-35 and F-16 demonstrations at future events.

Aero India 2025, which was recognized as one of the global aerospace and defense exhibitions, introduces the latest aircraft and defense technology and attracts participants from all over the world.
