Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja, who is very outspoken about her life and Govinda’s professional life in the past few months, recently did a tour of her home in Mumbai. Sunita did a tour of the “English style” house, designed primarily by her children, Tina and Yasibaldan. Sunita said since they studied in London they didn’t want to design messy homes “looking like homes, not exhibitions.”

Speaking to Mashable India, Sunita said: “I got married in this house. This was the second home Govinda bought. We got married in this temple and my two children were born and raised in this house, so I am. I’m very emotional about this house.’ She shared that various corners of her home are designed with Verstu’s practices in mind. She also showed the statue of Santa Claus, the idol of Sai Baba, and the angels placed in the house. She shared that she owns a house in Kolkata and a Darjeeling. These houses also have idols of Sai Baba.

For her “angel table,” Sunita said they “trust the angels” and light a candle on it every night. She then showed Versace candles placed on a nearby table. Sunita shared that they light up Diya on the balcony and protect their families from evil eyes. Sunita said all the furniture was imported from Italy and therefore it took seven months to complete the house.

She also tackled a recent accident when Govinda shot him in the leg while showing him the dance corner at his house, saying, “I’m dancing too, but I don’t know since Govinda was shot. No… he danced on Netflix. I saw it. He dropped the gun. I was not here either. I was in Kathusham Temple and Yash was in Bangkok. I said ‘Why are you in the wrong place Did you take a picture with it? You can also take a picture here (points towards your chest).”

Sunita concluded that they were planning on buying a larger location than they are now and would buy one at a time if possible. “Yash should have his own place when he settles down, I want a place too. This house is there, but I want a bigger house. We’re still deciding on this year or Let’s see if we’ll buy it next year.”

Sunita previously implied that Govinda and she no longer live together. “We have two houses. On the other side of the apartment there is a bungalow. I have my temple and my kids in the apartment. We live in a flat, but he meets. He loves to talk, so he gathers 10 people to chat with them. My son and daughter live together, but I feel like talking too much and wasting energy. We rarely talk about it because we are,” she told Hindi Rush.
