Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday accused Modi of “running the world’s largest terr racket” in the fierce attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the election bond scheme.
He argued that the funds raised through the now-destroyed scheme were used to divide political parties such as the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra and the Nationalist Congress Party and defeat the opposition government.
Election Bonds | Congress calls for SC surveillance investigation into donations to BJP from companies attacked by IT department and ED
Congressional Speaker Marikaljun Kalge requested an investigation monitored by the Supreme Court, but party communications chief Jailam Ramesh alleges that the company that donated to the BJP has been granted a government contract under the Quid Pro Quo arrangement did.
“The Fear of Crime”
Gandhi spoke with Thane’s media at the end of his Bharat Jodh Nyai Yatra’s 62nd day, saying the opaque election ties system was designed to benefit the ruling party.
“Now we know this is a way to force money from the largest companies in India. How to steal money from the largest contracts in the country, intimidate businesses and force the BJP to give money. Election ties are the world’s largest corruption fraud and terror racket run by the Indian Prime Minister,” he said.
Rep. Wayanad cited criminal fear tor from corporate India and said he was stating the facts rather than making the allegations. “A few months after the contract was given, or a few days after the CBI or ED Raids occurred, companies suddenly began to give election ties to the BJP. Certain companies that have never given money to the BJP has been in the case filed by the ED, CBI, and the companies will then donate money to the party. They are moving forward,” Gandhi said.
“There is no link to state contracts run by Congress.”
Congress leaders claimed that the Enforcement Bureau (ED) and the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) had been transformed into BJP and RSS entities. He argued that when the BJP government was replaced one day, such actions would have consequences. “Don’t worry, such events will be prevented,” he said.

Asked about the specific companies in which election debts operate, Gandhi said of the specific companies that have projects in Karnataka and Telangana, which were controlled by the Congress, “We are a scientist who are in the country that is in the country. “The government of the state.”
In Bengaluru, Kalge requested a special Supreme Court oversight investigation into the election bond scheme in which the ruling BJP won 6,065 crore in five years. BJP’s bank accounts will need to be frozen until the probe is complete, he added.
“A place of equal playing
The BJP receives the highest amount in election bonds, but it is a Congress bank account that includes donations received from frozen party workers, adding that “there is no equal playing field.”
Kharge called for an investigation into the alleged link between donations by companies that have been attacked by IT and ED officials or received notifications from central agencies and funds received by the BJP. “An investigation monitored by the Supreme Court is needed as the apex court unanimously defeated the Centre’s election bond scheme,” the AICC chief said.
“Quid Pro Quo” arrangement
Ramesh focused on the central research body, the shell companies that donated, and the companies that donated to the BJP after the attacks with the missing data of key data on bond schemes.

“There have been many cases of companies that donated election bonds, and soon afterwards they have earned a great deal from the government. MeghaEngineering & Infra is over 800 Krole to EBS. In April 2023, they donated 140 Krole, and Just a month later, I was awarded the 14,400 crore Turneborglivari Twin Tunnel Project,” he claimed.
“BJP’s Hafta Vasooli strategy is simple. It will attack targets through ED/CBI/IT and seek “Hafta” (donations) to protect the company. At least 14 of the top 30 donors were attacked,” Ramesh said.
Sitaram Yethuri, General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxism), said the correlation between the CBI and the raids by the ED is clearly established in the available data on election debts. “It’s very clear that when they buy election debts, the central institutions have stopped investigating them. This is nothing more than a clear case of political terror,” he said. .
