The Donald Trump administration will expel immigrants to India via military airplanes

U.S. military airplanes reported that Reuters quoted staff on Monday that they had expelled immigrants to India and marked the first crackdown on Indian immigrants since their inauguration.
Officials have confirmed that the C-17 aircraft, which carries immigrants, has left for India, but is not expected to arrive at least 24 hours.
The US Embassy Spokesman refused to provide information on the issue, but the government added that “the border is intensely enforced, the immigration law is tightened, and illegal immigrants are removed.”
“I have received many inquiries about reporting foreign expulsions to India. I can’t share the details of these inquiries, but recorded that the United States has intense the border and tightens the Immigration Law. You can share a clear message.

According to Reuters, the military expulsion is highly costly, and recent flights to Guatemala are estimated at least $ 4,675 per immigration.
The Indian government is willing to cooperate with the Trump administration in identifying and returning citizens who live illegally in the United States, aiming to maintain a strong relationship and avoid trade disputes. 。
“We are opposed to illegal immigrants, especially in the form of organizational crime,” said MEA’s spokesman Randhir Jaiswal last month.
“If they are Indian people, not just the United States, they are Indian people, they are overstaying or in a specific country without appropriate documents, we will regain them. We are their nationality. He could confirm, and if they were actually Indians, we would move things forward and promote their return to India. ”

According to the information that is familiar with this issue, the two countries have identified about 18,000 illegal India immigrants to export the country, but the actual number may be significantly higher.
According to data on US customs border security, India accounts for a relatively small share of illegal transition to the United States, accounting for about 3 % of all illegal crossing in 2024.
In contrast, Latin American countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, and Guatemala have contributed to much more. However, especially on the northern US border, the number of illegal immigrants in India is steadily increasing, and now it represents almost one -quarter of all illegal intersections.
