The Congress left Raja Sabha on Tuesday (February 11, 2025) and over 22 illustrations from the original constitution have not been approved by the Congress over comments by BJP MP Radha Mohan Das Agarwal at zero time. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar agreed with Agarwal and asked the government to ensure that only the original version of the constitution is printed and circulated. House Speaker JP Nadda said the assembly should support Agarwal.
Agarwal said the constitutional assembly asked artist Nandral Bose to draw illustrations for the constitution, including paintings by Lord Sri Ram, Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha and Lord Mahavir. “Photos of Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Rani Lakshmi Bai have been removed by these people. They were unable to accept Netaji Bose photos,” he said.

Congress opposed the statement. “Deciphering” Ambedkar

Nadda agrees with the point raised by Agarwal and claims that it is unfortunate that Congress is trying to take advantage of the issue politically and that there are attempts to slander Ambedkar.
