UFC CEO Dana White appeared on ESPN’s “First Take” to reflect on this year and begin predicting the 2025 schedule.
Besides putting on the best fights possible, White, who is in his 24th year with MMA’s biggest promotion, talked about what has helped the company grow so quickly.
“I was thinking about this this year, talking to some of the officials. We (UFC) haven’t been allowed to come into New York (to host fights) for a long time,” White said. spoke. “It was illegal in New York. White went so far as to say that the UFC has overtaken boxing in the live event category, given that marquee fights, like other bouts, tend to be held on schedule and not postponed.
The biggest fight White expects to take place next year is Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall for the heavyweight title. No schedule has been set for when the fight will take place, but White once again confirmed that Jones vs. Aspinall is a targeted plan.
“He’s not afraid to fight Tom Aspinall,” White said of Jones. “He’s going to fight Tom Aspinall, and it’s going to be the biggest fight in UFC history.”

UFC’s first quarter schedule is already starting to come together, with UFC 311 and UFC 312 scheduled for January and February in Los Angeles and Australia, respectively. More matches are being added to the calendar by the week as the promotion prepares for the final year under its ESPN television deal in the US
Mr. White also shows no signs of slowing down despite developing numerous businesses. It’s safe to assume he plans to stay here for the time being.
