Nabratilova, a lifelong Democrat who defended the fairness of women’s sports, ridiculed the other side of the aisle for failing to do what the president did.
“I hate how Democrats completely fail women and girls with this very clear question of women’s sports being just for women,” she wrote in X’s post.

It’s not the first time that Navratilova has criticized a political party for not doing anything more to protect women’s sports. She expressed her dissatisfaction last month when the House passed protections for women and girls in sports law. Only two Democrats voted as Republicans on the bill.

“You need to step up here. I agree, but I know a lot of people who are scared to speak up for reelection. I say I’ll do the right thing. I’ll develop my spine.” she wrote to X.
Before Trump signed the executive order, White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt pleaded with the Senate to vote for the bill as the executive order could be overturned.
