The contract was signed by Taiwan’s defense mission to the US and the American Association and is equivalent to nearly $249.9 billion with a six-year time limit for contract performance from January 14th to December 31st, 2030. Nasam said it was expected to be delivered to Taipei’s Songshan district and New Taipei’s Tam Sui district, where it was expected to unfold.
A source who wanted to remain anonymous said the first NASAM could be delivered by the end of the year.
