“Historical visit”
Qatar’s chief arrived on Thursday on “Official Visit to Damascus”, where he was welcomed by Shala.
Dorha’s Syrian Embassy said that Qatar would meet in a historic visit to “cooperate and support in several fields.”
Qatar was the second country following Türkiye to resume the Embassy in the capital of Syria following the overturn of Assad.
During his visit earlier this month, Qatar Prime Minister Shake Mohamed Bin Bin, Bin Jashim Al Tani also pledged to support Syria’s rehabilitation. He stated that the agreement includes 200 -megawatts power to Syria and gradually increasing production.
The diplomacy also states that Qatar is considering plans to support Syria with the salaries of the public sector.
This month, a minister of a Syrian transitional government, including Sheibani, has met Catard for the first visit to the Gulf Country since he gained power.
On December 23, Khulaifi led the first high -level Qatar delegation to Damascus after 13 years of diplomacy.
Qatar rulers are the highest among a series of foreign officers visiting Damascus since December.
This week, a representative from Russia, a close alliance of the exiled leader Asado, visited this week, but foreign ministers and high -ranking officials, including France, Germany and Turkier, are also going to Damascus.
The Syrian Defense Ministry said on Thursday that Türkiye’s high -level military delegation had visited the country.
