SpaceX today (February 1st) has released another batch on Starlink Internet satellite from California.
22 Starlink Spacecraft, Falcon 9 rocket, was lifted from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 6:02 pm (2302 GMT).
The first stage of Falcon 9 returned to Earth as planned about eight minutes after the lift off, and landed on the Pacific Ocean on the SpaceX Drone Ship with “I still love you”.
According to the SpaceX Mission’s description, today’s flight was the 17th launch and landing of this specific booster. 13 out of 17 flights were the Starlink mission.
Meanwhile, Falcon 9’s upper stage continued to carry 22 starlink satellites to low earth track. It will be deployed there after about 61 minutes of the lift off.
SPACEX has now launched 14 Falcon 9 missions in 2025.
According to astronomical physicists and satellite tracker Jonathan McDawell, the largest assembled Starlink Megaconstellation is currently constructed with more than 6,900 operation spacecraft.
