CDS Chauhan said many countries are pursuing sixth generation programs and he thinks everything is a little far away.

The CDS also highlighted that such technical demonstrations could become part of some tactics by various countries.

“It’s very difficult to see these kinds of platforms with six generations of capabilities. What we’re talking about is external viewing of aircraft, even a clip of a few seconds, but this is a six generation aircraft. It doesn’t give you the idea that there is,” CDS Chauhan told ANI.

“In fact, many countries are pursuing six generation programs. That’s my personal belief that all of them are a little bit apart… But a while ago, we’ve been waiting for WS 10 or WS We were hearing about the 15 engine capabilities. It’s on a fifth generation aircraft for the Chinese.”

He added that there is still no appropriately globally accepted definition of sixth generation aircraft.

“Essentially, sixth generation aircraft is a platform that can run both manned and unmanned teams. This includes two or three similar assets, perhaps UAVs, perhaps drones, sound drones. It’s like an airborne command post that gives you control and lets you control the battle in a different kind of way,” he told the agency.
