The Indian robot dog, Rabbot, (multi -utility equipment with legs), gained a heart on Sunday (January 26) at the 76th Republic in Colkata. A robot named “SANJAY” is an all -weather ground robot dog with excellent abilities to climb stairs, steep hills, and cross -cross hurdles.

The Army stated that Sanjay was designed to perform specific operations such as border security, assets protection, and chogenic nuclear war scenarios. In other areas where robots can use, there are explosive detection, disposal, intelligence, and monitoring.

Apart from being operated under extreme weather conditions from -40 degrees to 55 degrees, robots can also carry 15 kg weight.

Authorities have said that at least 100 robot dogs have been deployed in various Indian units.
