Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned last year. Also featured the brand as a first-ever atelier designer, designer Joseph Altuzara, along with numerous Hiwatt performers, including Tyra, Lisa and Cher, as the first ever Atelier Designer-in-Residence. Altuzara will create a series of ready-made collections in 2025 to develop a complete wardrobe for Victoria’s secret customers.

The first part of the collection is now available for sale today and features many nods to Victoria’s secret catalogues from the early 90s. Think about it: a slightly sexy sheer lace-adored slink silk slip dress and separate. Or the classic white button-down shirt is remade by Altuzara into a bodysuit, ensuring a smooth tuck inside elegant pleated trousers. “The first delivery we really approached as a really basic wardrobe,” shared Altuzara. “In my own collection, I always started working on outerwear and coats, and I loved the idea of working on trenches, seeing how this was delivered in the spring.” His version was ivory. Made from satin, it has a silver bra strap inside, allowing the wearer to sensually drape the coat over the shoulder. “Everything in the collection has these little touches that really come back to the language of lingerie and underwear,” he added. Bodycon Lightweight Knit Separates features a playful, fully functional hook and eye closure on the front, and the more masculine suit jacket features hook and eye details in sleeve cuffs rather than regular buttons. After all, Victoria’s Secret Fantasy is where everything starts so much. “There’s a real emotional connection to the brand,” explained Altuzara. “It was where many of my friends bought their first bras and girls got their first perfume. They had a lot of experience. So being able to work with them was a dream.”
