SCC Akhnoor defeats Green Field Champs Jammu with 7 Wkts

Jammu, April 1: Sink Cricket Club (SCC) Akhnoor (U-14) defeated Green Field Champs (GFC) Jammu with seven wickets in the first match of a three-match series at Govt Higher Secondary School Akhnoor today.
Greenfield champion Jammu won a toss and chose to hit first, earning 135/5 in 25 overs. Chaitanya Dogra got 34 runs from 51 balls, Rajveer Singh got 44 runs from 63 balls, while Japjaap Singh added 25 runs from 22 balls. Jatin Radha of the Sinkricket Club was an outstanding bowler with two wickets, but Amritral claimed one wicket.
In response, Afnor of the Sinkricket Club chased the target and scored 139/3 in 19.2 overs. Yuvraj scored 42 runs from 43 balls, Raghuveer Singh scored 30 runs from 33 balls, and Jatin Radha played a key knock from 22 balls to 31 runs. Akash ran 18 balls 17 times. Greenfield defended Jammu bowlers, Adil, Radithakur and Angel Thakur, each taking one wicket.
Jatin Radha was chosen as the Man of Man for his all-around performance. Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor led the series 1-0. The match will be hosted by referees Vikas Bali and Surya Dev Singh, with Rahul Bral as the scorer. The series will be held by the Shincricket Club Akhnoor under the supervision of Club President KR Sham Singlange.
