Have you done all your Christmas shopping yet? It’s never too late to choose a gift for yourself or someone else. So here are the best smartphone offers (and some accessories) we’ve found.
Amazon is running a huge Samsung promotion offering up to £250 in cashback. This lasts until December 22nd, so pick your favorites this week.
Starting with the main Samsung Galaxy S24 trio, which comes with £200 cashback. If you can’t decide which one is right for you, check out our direct articles on Galaxy S24 vs S24+ and Galaxy S24+ vs S24 Ultra.
There’s also the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, which gives you a slightly smaller cashback of £150. If you need help deciding whether FE is a better option, read our Galaxy S24 FE vs. S24+ and S24 FE vs. S24 posts.
The highest cashback amounts are for two foldable devices made by Samsung: the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. The Z Fold also comes with discounts, bringing the price to nearly £1,000.
It’s not over yet. The Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55 are both available with £75 cashback and come with a free Galaxy Fit3.
For more serious health and exercise tracking, check out the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7. The Ultra is more expensive, even with the discounts and cashbacks, and is bulkier, but it’s sturdier and has a longer battery life. The Watch7 is smaller (particularly the 40mm version) and Prime Student subscribers can get an extra £25 off.
An alternative to wrist-worn watches is the Galaxy Ring. It can replace a watch to some extent (with more limited functionality, of course), or it can complement a watch. With wearable and healthcare apps, you can wear the watch during the day and the ring at night for 24/7 tracking.
Samsung’s TWS Buds are also part of the deal. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro has a higher cashback amount and is priced fairly close to the Buds 3, so we think it’s worth paying a small premium for the Pro.
Last week there was a great offer on the old OnePlus 11 (unfortunately it’s now closed). For comparison, we have listed the price of OnePlus 12. The 12/256GB model was £750 and the 16/512GB model was £830. When I checked again, the price had dropped significantly. The 16/512GB model is down to £700 (£130 cheaper than last week!). The 12/256GB model has a small discount and is not a great deal. To see how this phone compares to Samsung’s flagship model, check out our OnePlus 12 vs. Galaxy S24 Ultra post.
The price of the OnePlus 12R has fallen as well, now at £500, £50 cheaper than last week.
If that’s too much, the OnePlus Nord 4 might be a better choice, with its cool aluminum unibody and price tag of £370 for the 12/256GB model. We recommend spending a little extra (just £30) and buying the 16/512GB model. Last week’s Nord 4 was £400/£480, so this is another notable price drop.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with an impressive set of cameras. Is it more impressive than the Galaxy S24 Ultra? We compare the two in our Xiaomi 14 Ultra vs Galaxy S24 Ultra post.
Finally, there’s the Xiaomi Mix Flip, a foldable flip that rivals Samsung products. It has the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 50MP 47mm tele camera rather than an ultrawide (both have a 50MP main camera). The battery is much larger (4,780mAh vs. 4,000mAh) and faster (wired-only 67W vs. 25W/15W).
