Rupali Ganguly is known for playing the role of Anupamaa in Rajan Shahi’s show.

Rupali Ganguly opened up about facing the casting couch in the film industry. In a recent interview, the Anupamaa actress said that it was her conscious decision to stay away from Bollywood and that she is considered a ‘failure’ in the film industry.

“I didn’t do very well in movies, but I made the choice to do it because the industry at that time was mainly based on casting couches. Maybe some people didn’t like it. But for people like me, it struck me that I decided not to take that option. So you’re considered a failure because you come from a film family,” Pinkvilla said. She said as quoted.

The actress further thanked Rajan Shahi and spoke about how the TV show Anupamaa changed her life. “I felt small back then, but I am so proud because of Anupamaa. This show gave me the height I always dreamed of. It was a life-changing experience,” she said. added.

Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa is one of the top TV shows of today and has been ruling the TRP charts for years now. However, recently there were reports that the actress is likely to quit Rajan Shahi’s show. Later, Rupali also broke his silence on the report, calling it baseless.

In an emotional message, Rupali Ganguly expressed her deep connection with Anupamaa and said, But thank you for talking to me about me and the show. What should I say? Everyone has a core, but I think my core is gratitude. My husband and I both believe that everything Rajan Ji has given me – recognition, position, status – can never be repaid in this life. And Anupamaa is more than just a show to me. It’s a feeling, this is my home, my second home, all my fur babies are here and the unit has become like a family. ”

“So, does anyone leave their family or home? And God, may that never happen in life. If Rajan ji says he doesn’t need me anymore, I won’t fight or quarrel with him.” He might say, “Please let Anupamaa stay.” I opened the gates for this show and I will continue to be a part of this show until the end. I will not leave even if I have to face obstacles,” she added.
